With over four decades of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Sonoma County, we are now ready to bring our top-notch service to EOA-1. Our partnership between SCFD and Medic Ambulance allows us to offer innovative, sustainable, and effective EMS services to the region. Join us as we set a new standard for EMS in EOA-1.
About SCFD-EMS
The Sonoma County Fire District (SCFD) is an incumbent ALS Response/Transport ambulance provider, covering more than 425 square miles of Sonoma County with our comprehensive EMS services. Our commitment lies in delivering cost-effective, patient-centered, and equitable prehospital care and transportation services to the County's Urban, Suburban, and Rural areas, including historically underserved communities. With our consolidated agencies, we have been proudly serving the region for over 45 years, ensuring the well-being of our community through exceptional emergency medical services.
Medic Ambulance Service Inc. (Medic) is a CAAS-accredited, highly rated, family-owned, private provider. Founded in 1979, Medic Ambulance was built into a leader in emergency medical services and has proudly served as the private provider serving the Solano EOA and caring for over 350,000 people. Additionally, Medic extends its services to Yolo, Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, and Napa counties. As a leader in customer care, Medic began serving the communities of Sonoma County in 2023 and through their partnership with Sonoma County Fire District has moved EMS to the next frontier with Sonoma County Fire District EMS (SCFD-EMS). This high-quality service became the Sonoma County EOA-1 provider in January 2024 providing care for over 250,000 people.
